•   1 (18 oz) package butter pecan cake mix 1 (18 oz) package butter pecan cake mix
•   1 1/4 c. quick oats 1 1/4 c. quick oats
•   1/2 c. butter, softened, divided 1/2 c. butter, softened, divided
•   1 egg 1 egg
•   4 c. thinly sliced apples 4 c. thinly sliced apples
•   1/4 c. granulated sugar 1/4 c. granulated sugar
•   1/2 c. chopped pecans 1/2 c. chopped pecans
•   1/4 c. packed brown sugar 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
•   1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together cake mix, quick oats and 6 tbsp butter. Remove 1 cup mixture and set aside.
2. To remaining mixture, stir in egg. Press mixture into a greased round pizza pan. Bake 12 minutes.
3. Stir together apples and granulated sugar. Layer on top of crust. Stir together reserved 1 cup mixture, remaining 2 tbsp butter, pecans and brown sugar. Sprinkle over apples. Bake for 20 minutes or until browned and apples are tender.
