Summer is over, but you might wish to recapture that outdoor grill flavor by using this rub on some ribs roasted in the oven.

  • add   4 Tbs. paprika
  • add   1 1/2 Tbs. salt
  • add   1/2 tsp. pepper
  • add   1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • add   1 Tbs. chile powder
  • add   1/2 Tbs. garlic powder
  • add   1 tsp. onion powder
  • add   1/2 Tbs. brown sugar (regular sugar works too)

Instructions

  1. Mix all together and put in an air-tight container.

Will last quite awhile in your pantry. Double ingredients for larger quantity. We use this on ribs, chicken and chops. If you roast in your oven, be sure to pour some liquid in the bottom of the roasting pan to keep the meat moist. We like to use beer, but water or broth works well also.
