Creamy, delicious, just better that out of a box! I serve this with green beans and potato rolls.

  •   1 1/2 lbs beef sirloin steak (1/2 inch thick)
  •   8 oz mushrooms (about 1 1/2 cups)
  •   1 medium onion
  •   2 garlic cloves (minced)
  •   1/4 butter
  •   1 1/2 beef broth
  •   1/2 tsp salt
  •   1 tsp Worcerstershire sauce
  •   1/2 c flour
  •   1 1/2 c sour cream
  •   3 c hot egg noodles

Instructions

  1. Cook sliced or diced mushroom, finely chopped onion, and garlic in butter over medium heat until soft and brown,
  2. Remove from pan and cook beef until brown
  3. Add 1 cup of broth, salt, and Worcerstershire sauce and bring to a boil.
  4. Cover and simmer fore 15 minutes
  5. In a seperate bowl, mix 1/2 c broth and flour and Add to beef
  6. Place mushrooms and onion mixture back in the pan and bring to a boil, stiring for a minute.
  7. Remove from heat and add sour cream
  8. Return to heat and warm
  9. Serve generous amount over warm noodles

I was looking for something quick and good for dinner and had some leftover spaghetti noodles and some cheese cubes I needed to use before the exp. date. I tossed this together in about 5 mins and baked. I served it with a tossed salad and garlic bread it was fast, great and became a family favorite.
