  • add   4 cups cooked plain white rice
  • add   4 oz. anisette (anise-flavored cordial)
  • add   2-3 tablespoons sweet butter
  • add   1/4 c. flour mixed with 1 tablespoon corn meal
  • add   2-4 skinless, thin-cut boneless chicken breasts


  1. dredge chicken breasts in flour (do NOT add salt or pepper)saute 3-4 minutes per side in butter, set aside in warm ovenmix anisette with flour and butter mixture until bubbly, and slightly thickenedcut up chicken breasts into smaller pieces and serve over white rice, with anisette gravy drizzled over the top
