Ingredients [?] Add all ingredients to Shopping List

  •   Your favorite corn bread receipe.
  •   Finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
  •   1 Can each:Red beans,pinto and kidney.
  •   Add enough water to come to top of chilli.
  •   3 packages of Lawry's chilli seasoning.
  •   1/2 tsp. pepper(black, or white)
  •   1/2 tsp-1 tsp Salt
  •   1/2-1 tsp. Garlic powder
  •   4 Cloves diced or crushed fresh garlic.
  •   1 Can fire roasted tomatoes with juice, squish in hand or dice.
  •   1 Green pepper diced
  •   1 Onion diced
  •   1-2 Fresh jalepeno's sliced. (1 for mild chilli, 2 for spicier.)
  •   1 Small can whole roasted green chilli's diced.
  •   2 tbsp. Olive oil
  •   1/2 lb. Ground turkey
  •   3 Boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into bite size pieces.

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken into bite size pieces. In large pot: Brown chicken in olive oil. Remove to plate. Brown and drain ground turkey. Put chicken back in pan with turkey.

    Add 1 tbsp. olive oil(if needed). Cook onion, green pepper, garlic,and jalepeno's until slightly soft. Add green chilli's, and tomatoes with juice. Add packets of chilli seasoning and water. Add pepper,salt and garlic powder. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer cook for 20 min.

    Add drained, rinsed canned beans. Cook additional 15-20 min. Or until beans are soft. Serve with cheese on top and piece of favorite corn bread receipe.
