During Chinese New Year, my mom cooked salted pork rice with ginger, I found that it is simple and fast to prepare. From there, I created Sweet Potatoes Steam Rice and Mushroom Chicken Steam Rice.

2 chicken fillet cut into slices

3 - 5 mushrooms cut into slices

1/2 Carrot cut into slices (if you liked carrots)

3 - 5 pieces 'Auricularia auricula' cut into pieces (木耳,if you liked)

a little bit ginger cut into slices
-
3 - 5 garlics slices
-
1/2 tea spoon salt
-
1 1/2 spoon oyster sauce
-
1 ounce olive oil or cooking oil
-
1 1/2 tea cup rice
Instructions
- Put olive oil into the wok, wait till it heat up.
- Reduce the heat.
- Put in the garlics, then mushrooms, carrots, or Auricularia auricula, and ginger.
- Increase to medium heat.
- After 30 seconds, put in chicken fillet slices.
- Followed by salt and oyster sauce, until the chicken are 30% cooked.
- Put all cooked ingredients on a plate.
- Cook the rice with rice cooker.
- Mix all prepared ingredients into the rice cooker and close the cooker after 10 minutes the rice boiled, then wait for it to be ready.
