  •   maple syrup
  •   1/2 cup brown sugar
  •   4 medium Golden Delicious apples
  •   1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  •   1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  •   salt and pepper to taste
  •   4 Tablespoons minced onion
  •   1 pound ground chicken

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

    2. Sauté ground chicken and onions in a large skillet over medium heat until chicken is completely browned. Mix in seasonings, then set aside.

    3. Cut each apple in half horizontally, then remove core, creating a hole in each half about 1 and 1/4 inch wide.

    4. Lightly spray a glass baking dish with butter-flavored nonstick cooking spray. Stuff each apple half with the chicken mixture, then place in the baking dish. Top with brown sugar, dividing equally between the apples.

    5. Place dish in over and bake for 40 minutes, or until the apples are tender.

    6. Serve topped with maple syrup.
