We love this chili for school nights, and when it's cold outside! It never takes very long to make, and the longer it simmers on the stove the tastier and thicker it gets!

1 T. vegetable oil

1 T. minced garlic

1 lb. lean ground beef
-
2 (8 oz) cans stewed tomatoes
-
1 (8 oz) can kidney beans
-
1 (8 oz) can black beans
-
1 (8 oz) can pinto or chili beans
-
1 medium yellow onion
-
1 packet chili seasoning
-
Grated cheddar cheese, to top
-
Light sour cream, to top
Instructions
- Cook the meat in a skillet, on stove set to high heat, with a little oil and garlic (more or less garlic depending on your taste).
- Empty cans of tomatoes and beans into large pot on stove set to medium-high; stir in onion.
- Stir beef in.
- Stir in seasoning.
- Allow to get hot on stove, and simmer for 5 minutes
- Top with grated cheese and sour cream.

Want cornbread? Use a mix (you usually need some milk and an egg to add to it), and start it a little before you begin the chili, and they should come out roughly even!
