  • add   1-2 LB pkg frozen hash browns
  • add   8 oz. sour cream
  • add   1 can cream of chicken soup
  • add   1/2 cup margarine or butter
  • add   1/2 cup chopped onion
  • add   2 cups grated medium cheese


  1. Place hash brown potatoes in a greased 9 x 13 casserole pan sprayed with non stick spray. Season with salt & pepper. Meanwhile melt butter or margarine in a small saucepan over low heat. In a bowl add onions, sour cream & soup with melted butter. Stir to combine and pour over hash browns.
  2. Sprinkle with cheese & bake for 45 minutes at 350*.
