  • add   All you need
  • add   224 g canned artichoke hearts – drained
  • add   1 tbsp olive oil
  • add   1 tbsp butter
  • add   4 shallots – chopped
  • add   3 garlic cloves – minced
  • add   1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • add   2 cups chicken broth prepared from al alali Chicken Stock
  • add   1 potato, peeled and chopped into 1/2 inch cubes
  • add   1 tsp dried thyme
  • add   1 tbsp. al alali Oregano
  • add   1/8-1/4 tsp cayenne
  • add   Salt to taste
  • add   1/2 cup cream, or ½ cup cream with 1/2 cup milk
  • add   110 grams grated cheese

  2. In a pot, heat olive oil and butter over medium heatAdd shallots and garlic, and sauté for about 5 minutes. Add flour and stir mixture until flour is coated properlyAdd chicken broth prepared from al alali Chicken Stock, potatoes, artichokes, al alali oregano, thyme and cayenne. Then add salt to tasteBring to boil, then lower heat and continue boiling for about 20 minutes, uncovered until vegetables softenPurée the soup with the help of a blender, then add cream and cheeseSimmer until cheese is melted and soup just begins to bubble. Serve and enjoy!
