  •   Serves 4 to 6
  •   Cooking Time approx. 2 hours
  •   Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  •   1tbs light brown sugar
  •   1 cup water
  •   1 medium new potato diced
  •   1 small onion chopped
  •   3tbs whole cloves
  •   3tbs extra-virgin olive oil
  •   2tbs ground sage
  •   Kosher salt and ground black pepper
  •   1(3 to 5-pound) chicken

Instructions

  1. Mix the sage and exta-virgin olvie oil in a bowl. Add the kosher salt and ground pepper, use own descretion, into the bowl
    with the sage oil.

    Add the water into the baking dish with the light brown sugar, making sure it is mix. Now add half of the chopped onion and half of the diced new potato, along with 2tbs of the whole cloves into the
    water mixture. The rest of the onion and potato should be stuffed in the cavity of the chicken with the remainder of the cloves.

    Bast the chicken with the sage oil mix all over making sure every part is covered. Any remaining sage oil mix may be poured over the onions and potatos in the cavity of the chicken.

    Leave the chicken uncovered and place into the preheated oven. Bast with the water mix in dish every 20 to 30 min.

What I think is fun is trying out different folds and shapes of wontons you can make raviolli shapes, triangles, or even little purses, I adore cream cheese wontons for dessert and company always enjoys this bite-size dessert . If you dont have time to soften the cream cheese pop it in the microwave for about 25 seconds.
