This is a tasty crockpot dish that will remind you of Thanksgiving. Our version serves two, but it is easily doubled or tripled for larger families.

2 skinless chicken breasts

1/4 tsp. garlic powder

salt & pepper to taste

2 Tbs. canola oil
-
1/3 cup shredded cheese (any kind you like)

1 Cup crushed dry stuffing mix

2 Tbs. melted butter
-
1 can cream of chicken soup

1/2 Cup milk
Instructions
- Season breasts with salt, pepper and garlic powder, then brown chicken in oil in a frying pan on high heat for about 2 minutes each side.
- Place chicken in crockpot, top with cheese and stuffing which you have mixed with the melted butter. Combine the soup and milk and pour over all.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

We served it with cranberry sauce and a little extra gravy made from mixing milk and cream of chicken soup together.
