hmm,,,its a simple story,,as u might already know from me profile,,am a meat lover,,so as my dad,,lOll anyway<< once on a cooking show,, todays recipe was featured,, as it was prepared with youghart,,i wasn't much amused,,however,, on that weekend,,my dear mom surprised me by cooking Dahi murga,,n,,to my wonder,,it was just Muawww(excellent).. but,,,she also added some oriental spices..

Ingredients [?] Change Serving Size Add all ingredients to Shopping List

  •   1 (at least weighing a kilo) perfectly cleaned Rooster[chicken will also do],slicing it may be 6 to 10 pieces
  •   1/4 litre youghurt
  •   1/2 cup(1/4 litre) of sunflower oil(preferebly,,other cooking well also will do)
  •   one piece of large size onion sliced in pieces.
  •   one piece of garlic(preferbly massed)
  •   half piece of ginger(preferbly massed)
  •   two medium sized tomato(sliced in pieces)
  •   n,,other spices like peeper,green chili n dhania based on consumers demand..lOll

Instructions

  1. first take a big pen fry n make sure,,its clean..
  2. set it on gas stove ,,pour whole cup of oil n let it heatt at medium..
  3. afterwards,,put onion,garlic n ginger,,,n,,let it fry..for 2 or 3 mnts..
  4. u can now put other spices like chilli or souring spices as u prefer ,,
  5. now,,the whole cup of youghurt must be poured on,,,while deeming the fire in low heat,,n,stir thouroughly n repeatedly till u see,, the youghurt totally mixed with the oil,,
  6. if u cant decide,,,after stiring continuously for 7/8 mnts,,its okay..
  7. Now,, put the pieces of chicken one by one,,slowly slowly..
  8. cover the pen fry,,let it be cooked in low heat,,n,,take a good book,,or enjoy any TV show for ten to fifteen mnts,,based on chickens age..
  9. Now,, pour the sliced tomatos over the curry,,n,,,put off the fire,,again cover it for five mnts..

hmm,, it can be experimanted with adding other spices n flavors,, dont pour any water ,,,if u feel or see,,curry is getting dry,,u can add lil more youghurt to keep it wet,,
