This is the soup I like when I get a cold. Its my comfort food. And it makes me feel better.

Ingredients [?] Add all ingredients to Shopping List

  •   2 cups cubed cooked chicken
  •   3 (14.5 oz) cans chicken broth
  •   1 tbsp oil
  •   1 1/2 cups carrots, sliced
  •   1 cup celery, sliced
  •   1 medium (1/2 cup) onion, chopped
  •   2 cups uncooked wide egg noodles or pasta
  •   2 tbs chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. In a sauce pan heat oil
  2. Add onion, carrots, and celery. Cook for 3 minutes over med heat. Until just tender
  3. Add cooked chicken and cook for 2 minutes
  4. Add chicken broth, bring to a boil, reduce heat to med and cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Add egg noodles and cook for additional 8 minutes or until paste and carrots are cooked
  6. salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Enjoy!
