I make this when we tailgate and it is cold outside. I bake it just before we leave for the game, then I wrap it in bath towels and it keeps it nice and hot until you are ready to eat!!

12 slices white bread, crusts removed and cubed

1 1/2 lbs bulk pork sausage

1/3 cup chopped onion

1/4 dup chopped green pepper

1 jar (2 oz.) chopped pimentos drained

6 eggs

3 cups milk
-
2 tsp. worcestershire sauce

1 tsp. dry mustard
-
1/2 tsp. salt
-
1/2 tsp. pepper
-
1/4 tsp. dried oregano
Instructions
- Line a greased 13x9 inch pan with bread cubes; set aside. In a skillet, brown sausage with the onion and green pepper; drain. Stir in pimentos; sprinkle over bread. In a bowl, beat eggs, milk, worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, pepper and oregano. Pour over sausage mixture, cover and refigerate overnight. Bake covered, at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 minutes longer or until a knofe inserted near the center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
