  • add   2 Tbsps. Parmesan cheese, optional
  • add   1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. butter
  • add   1 Tbsp. sugar
  • add   4 fresh ears of corn, husks and silks removed


  1. Place corn in a large shallow saucepan containing just enough boilingwater to cover them. Add sugar, return to a boil and boil 5-6minutes until tender. Drain thoroughly. Serveimmediately with butter, parmesan if desired, and salt and pepper to taste.
