It has been a very traditional way for a family dinner of my mom's side..(She is 100% Danish!) It is really good.. I often eat it as a hamburger!! Try it!

Change Serving Size
  • add   1/2 lb Veal
  • add   1/2 lb Pork
  • add   1 g Onion
  • add   2 c Milk Pepper to taste
  • add   2 tb Flour or
  • add   1 c Bread crumbs
  • add   1 Egg

Instructions

  1. Salt to taste Put veal and pork together through a grinder 4 or 5 times. Add flour or bread crumbs milk egg onion salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly. Drop on frying pan from a large tablespoon and fry over low heat. Serve with browned butter potatoes and stewed cabbage.

If you purchase pork already ground at the market, be sure that it is not seasoned pork sausage. Danish Meatballs can be frozen and reheated in the oven or microwave. You can eat it the way you would with a hamburger, if you like to.. I do that..
