I came up with this recipe for my boyfriend who loves strong, garlicky foods. The leftovers you can freeze inside cookie cutters to make heart shapped tabs of butter for the garlic-lover in your life.

Ingredients [?] Add all ingredients to Shopping List

  •   1 stick salted butter, cut into 8 pieces
  •   6 cloves garlic, chopped
  •   2 tbsp. green onions or chives, diced
  •   1 tbsp. flat leaf parsley, chopped
  •   1 tsp. EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil)
  •   1 tsp. salt
  •   1 tsp. crushed black peppercorns

Instructions

  1. In a food processor combine garlic, onions, EVOO, salt, parsley and pepper. Pulse to a fine blend.
  2. Slowly add in butter pieces, with the processor running, until ingrediants are completely combined.

* For Easy Garlic Bread: Add a layer of butter to french baguette slices, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and toast for 10 minutes in an oven at 350 degrees. * Add slices of butter to a skillet when searing fish, meat or chicken.

I love mashed potatoes & I love garlic.....I have had garlic mashed potatoes in restaurants but never to my satisfaction......so here we go........................
