  • add   Cooked & shredded Chicken 500
  • add   gms
  • add   Dried Mushrooms 4 nos.
  • add   Finely chopped onion 1 no.
  • add   Chicken Stock ¼ ltr.
  • add   Soya Sauce ¾ cup
  • add   Fresh ginger,finely chopped 1 tbsp.
  • add   Garlic clove, crushed 1 no.
  • add   Vinegar 4 tbsp.
  • add   Sugar 1 tsp.
  • add   Cornflour 1 tbsp.
  • add   Sherry 1 tbsp.
  • add   Tomato puree 1tsp.
  • add   Pepper To taste
  • add   Salt To taste


  1. 1. Put the Soya sauce, onion, ginger, garlic,
  2. vinegar, sugar, tomato puree, salt and pepper in a
  3. saucepan.
  4. 2. Bring to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. 3. Soak the dried mushrooms in warm water for
  6. half an hour. Then drain, rinse and cut into thin
  7. slices.
  8. 4. Heat the oil in a saucepan and add the chicken
  9. shreds. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
  10. 5. Add the stock and the Soya sauce mixture,
  11. together with the cornflour mixed with sherry, to
  12. the chicken.
  13. 6. Add the mushrooms and cook till sauce
  14. thickens slightly.
  15. 7. Serve hot.
