hamburger soup

Print PrintShare with Friends

A delicious conglomerate of beef and vegetables in a rich tomato soup. I made this regularly when my kids were growing up. We ate a lot of ground beef because it was economical. This was an invention of mine while looking for another way to cook hamburger. I served it with cornbread or crackers. It was great!

This is a great recipe! Thanks for adding it. I've made it three times since discovering here in September (it's now almost January) and I'll be making it again tonight. It's so quick and easy to make (takes just over an hour) and it's SO good especially for the cold Chicago winters! Oh, and my roommates thank you, too - they LOVE it. :-)
