I love mashed potatoes & I love garlic.....I have had garlic mashed potatoes in restaurants but never to my satisfaction......so here we go........................

  •   5 lbs potatoes
  •   1 clove fresh garlic
  •   1 stick butter
  •   Pepper
  •   milk {to taste}
  •   Morton's Natures Seasons Seasoning Blend {to taste}

Instructions

  1. Peel potatoes while bringing large pot of water to a boil.
  2. Rinse potatoes then add to boiling water.
  3. Peel garlic and add to a small pot/pan with very little water.
  4. Warm garlic in pan till soft then press til blended.
  5. When a knife/fork can cut potatoes, pour water off and add them to a large bowl.
  6. Take a potatoe masher and until slightly blended. Take your mixer and blend til nice & fluffy.
  7. During this time you may add your garlic, stick of butter, seasoning blend, pepper and milk to taste.
  8. After ingredients are blended, you may transfer to a serving dish, garnish with parsley, and enjoy!!!
  9. {Salt individually to taste}

Note From The Chef

I never measure the milk, just add little by little til potatoes are creamy. You may add more butter if you like but 1 stick is good and this allows your guest to add more if they want. If you notice salt is not listed because there is salt in the seasoning blend.
