I watched my parents make this as I was growing up and I do remember licking my fingers after I was done mixxing and rolling them and the taste of salt on my fingers.I couldn't wait for these to be done, so good:)

3 lbs of hamburg usually 85 % ground
-
3 large eggs raw
-
2 to 3 cups of seasoned bread crumbs
-
salt prob 1 tbls try it if it needs more(sorry I dont measure )

pepper 4 shakes
-
parmesian cheese 1/2 cup
-
onion powder (4 shakes)
-
garlic powder (5 shakes)

milk or wine is optional to make mixxing easier and add tatse. cooks off in recipe .
Instructions
- add ground hamburg to bowl then crack 3 eggs one per lb of meat, then add breadcrumbs, and remaining seasonings , mix by hand until it is moist and eggs are mixxed thoroughly and breadcrumbs are blended into meat along with seasonings. Then grab by handful and make meatballs size u perfer, and drop slowly into sauce stirring slowly as they are added. Cook into sauce for at least 90 mins to 2 hours before eating.

the sauce compliments the meatballs or the meatballs compliment the sauce im not sure which but either way its beyond heaven

U can add more cheese or salt to taste but remember the cheese has salt in it too be careful the salt taste doesnt overwhelm the recipe.

Wow, meatballs from scratch. Been a while since meetballs I ate were more then a sauce on reheated costco bulk meatballs. Thanks for the add!
