Kicked-up Beef Cubes for the Crockpot

This came together one day when I was looking for something alittle different to do with some beef cubes. It's so easy to prepare and it's really good.

  • add   1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes with basil oregano and garlic
  • add   2 teaspoons dried marjoram
  • add   1 onion
  • add   1 tablespoon Essence of Emeril (recipe #41970)
  • add   1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • add   1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
  • add   1 (1 1/4 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
  • add   noodles
  • add   2 cloves garlic
  • add   1/4 cup red wine
  • add   2 lbs beef stew meat

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients (except sour cream) to the crock pot and stir.
  2. Cover crockpot and cook 7-8 hours on low.
  3. Add sour cream (if using) about 15 minutes before you're ready to serve.
  4. Stir the sour cream into the meat mixture well.
  5. Serve over noodles.
