This is just a simple recipe I thought of while going grocery shopping.

Ingredients [?] Change Serving Size Add all ingredients to Shopping List

  •   4 ounces of black olives sliced.
  •   1 lb. Italian seasoned ground turkey
  •   3 cups elbow macaroni
  •   3 - 4cups tomato sauce (canned or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the macaroni according to the directions on the package.
  2. While the macaroni is cooking, brown the ground turkey throughly and Preheat the oven to 350.
  3. In a baking dish, combine the cooked pasta, ground turkey, olives and sauce. Use enough sauce to throughly coat the pasta.
  4. Bake for 20 mins.
  5. Stir before serving.

I make this all the time for my niece but I've always used ground beef, the ground turkey sound good. I'm definitely going to try it next time.

You can substitute the ground turkey for any ground meat. If you cannot find Italian seasoned turkey, then just get unseasoned and season with salt, pepper and dried Italian seasoning to your liking. You could also top this with Italian cheeses.
