  • add   2 cans black beans, drained
  • add   1 can chicken broth
  • add   1 small can tomato juice
  • add   1 Tbs. oil
  • add   2 strips bacon, diced
  • add   1/4 onion, diced
  • add   1 small carrot, diced
  • add   1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • add   1 tsp. chili powder
  • add   1/8 tsp. oregano
  • add   1 Tbs. brown sugar
  • add   1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • add   Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In soup pot, brown bacon, onion and carrots in oil on med. low for 5 minutes.
  2. Add rest of ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer
  3. until ready to serve.
