ono, shrimp & ahi w/ a salad

you'll need to go to Kona, Hawai'i for the full experience on this one. the fish is fresh from the boat that morning and all veggies are fresh too. if you can do the same, have a pale ale on the lanai and watch the sunset at the same time - you're on point with this one.

Ingredients [?] Change Serving Size Add all ingredients to Shopping List

  •   1 fillet of ono
  •   1 fillet of ahi
  •   1/4 cup of soy sauce (shoyu ;-)
  •   1 lemon
  •   1 clove of garlic
  •   1/2 pound to however many shrimp you think you can handle
  •   1 clove of garlic
  •   butter
  •   2 pale ale beers
  •   good company and a good view

Instructions

  1. mince the garlic and add shoyu and squeezed lemon - poor over the fillets - marinate over an hour.
  2. mince the garlic for the shrimp and put in a dish to melt w/ the butter (ah yah!)
  3. throw it all on the grill until seared (some like it more grilled, sinners)
  4. melt that butter and put it together
