Ingredients [?] Change Serving Size Add all ingredients to Shopping List

  •   Pasta noodles
  •   1 can chicken or tuna or chicken sausage
  •   1 can Italian-style tomatoes
  •   1 medium tomato, sliced
  •   1 medium yellow onion, diced
  •   Mushrooms, sliced
  •   ? can black olives
  •   Pasta sauce (marinara, alfredo, pesto, or a combination)
  •   Feta cheese, to top

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot, and then boil pasta noodles. Dump pot into strainer, and then dump the noodles back into pot.
  2. Add chicken or tuna to the noodles.
  3. Add vegetables (if the onion is too strong, add it first so it has longer to cook)
  4. Stir in sauce.
  5. Allow to warm up on stove.
  6. Top with feta cheese.

I used to hate cooking a lot more than I do now, and this was one of the recipes that convinced me I could do it. It's about the easiest thing you can imagine and you don't even need to use the oven (you can, but it's not so slick).

To be honest I made this up after a late night out. It isn't as wierd as it sounds though. There were a couple of inspirations. First, My old rommate Dan use to add tuna to his spaghetti for protien. Second, I saw another tuna spaghetti recipe at an amazing family owned resturante in DC called Pasta Mia. Anywho I love creating simple dishes that are insipred by high class meals.
