  • add   1 cup chopped onions
  • add   2/3 cup butter
  • add   12 lasagna noodles
  • add   1 teaspoon onion salt
  • add   1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • add   1 egg
  • add   1 teaspoon salt
  • add   2 cups cottage cheese
  • add   1 teaspoon dill
  • add   3/4 cup chopped bacon
  • add   1 1/2 cups mashed potatoes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
  2. Cook noodles until just soft.
  3. Rinse, set aside.
  4. Lay 4 noodles in bottom of greased 9x13 pan.
  5. Combine cottage cheese, egg and 1 tsp.
  6. onion salt.
  7. Spread over the 4 noodles in pan.
  8. Lay 4 more noodles over top.
  9. Combine the dill,cheese, mashed potatoes and 1 tsp.
  10. onion salt.
  11. Spread on the noodles in the pan.
  12. Lay final 4 noodles on top.
  13. Heat butter in a skillet and saute the onion and bacon until onion is soft and bacon bits are nearly cooked.
  14. Pour over top of final noodle layer.
  15. Cover and Bake 1/2 hour and serve with sour cream.
