Ret's Delicious Hamburger Nacho Bake

something that i tried on night that we wanted something different. it turned out really good and my husband really liked it and insists that i make again sometime.

Ingredients [?] Change Serving Size Add all ingredients to Shopping List

  •   2 pounds thawed, hamburger
  •   1 sleeves salted \ non salted crackers
  •   2 cans drained, pieces & stems, mushrooms
  •   1 lg. can pasta sauce (your choice)
  •   1 lg. can diced tomatoes
  •   4 hot dogs, sliced length wise
  •   1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  •   3 cups marble cheese, shredded
  •   1 med. onion
  •   1\2 med. bottle zesty nacho cheese
  •   bacon bits, to sprinkle over top
  •   parsley & celery seed, for sprinkling
  •   over the top

Instructions

  1. 1. mix together pasta sauce and diced tomatoes. set aside.
  2. 2. mix together hamburger, crackers, mushrooms, onion. mix til combined well. set aside.
  3. 3.in bottom of lg. baking dish put 1\2 of the sauce mixture, setting aside the remaining.
  4. 4. place hamburger mixture on top of the sauce mixture, making sure that the hamburger covers the bottom layer of sauce well.
  5. 5. pour remaining sauce mixture over the hamburger mixture, covering well.
  6. 6. with a teaspoon place 8 droppings of zesty nacho cheese all over the top of sauce mixture. mix with a knife in with the top layer of sauce so as not to be in clumps.
  7. 7. place sliced hot dogs over that at and angle. sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the top of that.
  8. 8. sprinkle top with parsley, celery seed and bacon bits.
  9. 9. put in preheat 350 degree oven to cook for 1\2 hour to 45 minutes, or until hamburger is completely cooked.
  10. 10. remove from oven and sprinkle marble cheese over the top, covering it really good. place back in oven just until cheese has melted. remove from oven. serve with nacho chips.

do not precook hamburger and if you want to use fresh mushrooms make sure that you slice them well.
