  • add   500g chicken mince
  • add   1 egg
  • add   1 onion, finely chopped
  • add   1 teaspoon mixed herbs
  • add   salt and pepper to taste
  • add   1 tablespoon olive oil
  • add   300g chunky tomato salsa
  • add   60g light cheese, grated


  1. 1. COMBINE the chicken mince, egg, onion, mixed herbs and salt & pepper in a bowl. Gently mix and form tablespoons of the mixture into small patties.
  2. 2. Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan over a medium heat. Fry the patties for 3 minutes, pressing down with a fork to flatten them slightly. Turn th epatties and spoon a little of the salsa onto th etop of each patty. Sprinkle with a little cheese. Cover and cook for 3 minutes or until the cheese melts.
