Another of my mom's simple-but-amazing recipes, this soup is fabulous. Sounds weird, but I promise it's fantastic. It keeps very well in the fridge, too.

2 T. butter or margarine

1 1/2 cup chopped onion

1 T. flour

1 T. cumin
-
1 T. chili powder

1 (13-oz) can chicken broth
-
1 (16-oz) bag frozen corn, thawed

2 cups salsa
-
8 oz. (or less) cream cheese, softened and cut
-
1 cup milk
Instructions
- Melt margarine or butter in sauce pan and saut? onion until clear. Add flour, chili powder, and cumin; mix well. Add broth, corn, and salsa. Slowly add cream cheese; stir until melted. Add milk and stir until completely mixed. Do not let boil.
