Ingredients [?] Change Serving Size Add all ingredients to Shopping List

  •   2 slices of Rump Steak lean and tender
  •   Half tsp Salt
  •   Pepper
  •   1 Tsp Minced Garlic
  •   2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  •   Half cup of water
  •   2 tbsp Olive Oil or Cannola Oil
  •   1 tsp Oyster Sauce
  •   1 tsp Cornflour

Instructions

  1. Cut steak into four pieces, sprinkle with salt and pepper place in a flat dish, add garlic and rub well into steak
  2. Put electric frying pan on add olive or cannola oil, heat to med hot
  3. Put steak into pan and turn pan on to hot fry steak till juices begin to appear in the pan turn heat down to med add stock and let the steak cook gently in stock and it's own juice, Cook meat for 20 mins to half hour, add half to one cup stock so that pan is not dry keep meat covered, add soy sauce then lastly oyster sauce, mix cornflour with a little water and stir in gently. Serve with boiled rice. Mashed Potatos and vegetables or with your own favourite side dish. and a glass of red wine. Enjoy.

A delicious sponge pudding with the added texture of coconut and rolled oats, a superb butterscotch sauce all served with a dreamy pillow of whipped cream. I stole this from a former Ruth Chris' Chef that craved the flavor at home... You're going to need a cast iron skillet for this one though, the high heat will burn the Teflon off non-stick pans. If you have it, a cast iron skillet with raised grease ridges would be perfect.
