  • add   cheese
  • add   1 cup shredded extra sharp cheddar
  • add   1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • add   1/2 teaspoon salt
  • add   potatoes, thawed
  • add   1 16 oz. package frozen hash brown
  • add   4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • add   finely chopped
  • add   1 large green pepper, seeded and
  • add   1 large white onion, finely chopped
  • add   1 pound ground chicken breast
  • add   2 teaspoon butter
  • add   2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil


  1. Combine the oil and butter in large skillet. Heat over medium heat, and add the chicken, onions, green pepper and garlic. Cook over medium heat about 5 minutes, stirring, till meat is not pink. Add the potaotes, salt and pepper. Continue to cook overmedium heat till potatoes are tender and golden. --about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and place in serving dish and top with the cheese and serve. 4-6 servings
