This recipe was passed down in my family. Yes, I am truly a Yankee. I was born and raised in Bklyn, NY. However, my roots are from Jackson,TN. Very,very tasty.

  • add   1 tablespoon black pepper
  • add   2 onions
  • add   2 celery ribs
  • add   8-10 pig's feet
  • add   1 tablespoon salt
  • add   1 bay leaf
  • add   3/4 cup white vinegar
  • add   1/2 tablespoon Accent seasoning (optional)
  • add   2 bell peppers


  1. Place all ingredients in large dutch oven. Add water to cover pigs feet. Boil until tender. Add more water if necessary. Serve with cornbread.
