  • add   1/2 cup cheddar cheese\grated
  • add   2 cups lettuce
  • add   1 medium tomato\raw, diced
  • add   1 lb. canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • add   1 cup canned red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • add   1/2 tsp. ground cumin
  • add   2 tsps. dried oregano
  • add   1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • add   1/2 cup onions\raw, chopped
  • add   1 lb. lean ground beef


  1. Cook ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium-high heat until beef is no longer pink, about 10 to 12 minutes. Drain. Stir in chili powder, oregano, and cumin. Cook for 1 minute. Mix in beans, chickpeas, and tomato. Portion lettuce onto servings plates. Top with grated cheese. Then top with beef mixture.
