my mum makes this for every party we have its always a hit as long as u dont tell the kids its spinach lol every time a family or friend has a party they ask mum to make this for them

Ingredients [?] Change Serving Size Add all ingredients to Shopping List

  •   one damper loaf
  •   one frozen spinach block
  •   one tub of sour cream
  •   a cup of grated cheese
  •   4 heaped table spooons of mayo
  •   1 packet of spring vegie soup

Instructions

  1. leave spinach out over nite to defrost
  2. once de frosted drain well and place into mixing bowl
  3. add tub of sour cream, the mayo, and soup packet (as is), plus cheese
  4. stir well until all combined
  5. now for the damper loaf
  6. take a knife (carefully) and cut a holo and with hands scope out the bread
  7. pour dip into damper and tear up the remaining piece of bread from the holo to dip into the dip

you can also warm and toast in the oven for a short time if going to be eaten in the colder seasons, as you use up the bread from the holo you tear into the damper it self
