  • add   3 tablespoons canning salt
  • add   3 tablespoons sugar
  • add   1 dash cumin
  • add   1 (12 ounce) can tomato paste
  • add   1 tablespoon pepper
  • add   1 tablespoon alum
  • add   16 cups tomatoes
  • add   1 jar jalapeno peppers or 6-8 jalapeno peppers
  • add   6 cloves garlic
  • add   2 cups onions
  • add   2 cups green peppers
  • add   1 dash marjoram
  • add   3/4 cup vinegar

Instructions

  1. take skins off tomatoes (put them in boiling water and then in cold water, skins will come off very easily) Pour everything in a big cooking pot.
  2. mix well.
  3. simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. pour in pint jars.
  5. put on two piece canning lids.
  6. Process in hot water bath for 30 minutes.
