Ingredients [?] Change Serving Size Add all ingredients to Shopping List

  •   !pound sirloin
  •   1/2 cup chopped celery
  •   1/2 cup chopped onions
  •   1 package Schilling original chili mix
  •   1(15 1/2oz.)can stewed tomatoes
  •   1 (15 1/2oz.)can Hunt's Manwich
  •   1/3 cup elbow macaroni
  •   1 tablespoon brown sugar
  •   1 can red kidney beans

Instructions

  1. Brown the sirloin well
  2. Add the chopped onion and celery
  3. Add the chili mix
  4. add the kidney beans,tomatoes,manwich,and some water to cover
  5. After it comes to a boil,reduce the heat to low,and add the macaroni
  6. Simmer until the noodles are tender

In college a few friends and I would have get togethers at my apartment during the summer when there were only a few of us around. I would cook and show we'd have a small wine tasting. I bragged about my cooking and, in turn, it made everyone really like it. I tried to introduce things that were a bit off the beaten path for everyday college meals. Things that were easy to create. This is one.
