My very best friend from school gave this recipe to me. I kinda thought she was crazy. Vinegar cookies???? She isn't crazy they are really good.

Ingredients [?] Add all ingredients to Shopping List

  •   2 sticks butter-softened
  •   3/4 cup sugar
  •   1 3/4 cup flour
  •   1 tsp. baking soda
  •   1 tsp. vanilla
  •   2 tsp. vinegar
  •   walnuts

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients. Add 2 tsp. vinegar. Mix well. Drop by teaspoons on cookie sheet, or roll into balls and press with a fork. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Grind up walnuts very fine. Sprinkle on to of warm cookies.
  2. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.
