  • add   2 tbs. fresh basil, chopped
  • add   1/2 c. kalamata olives, chopped
  • add   1 1/2 c. havarti cheese, shredded
  • add   1/2 c white wine
  • add   1/4 c cream
  • add   1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • add   14.5 oz. can diced roasted tomatoes, drained
  • add   1 lb. ground chicken
  • add   16 oz. bow tie pasta

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water for about 10 minutes or until al dente. Heat large saucepan over medium heat, add chicken. When chicken is cooked through add tomatoes, red pepper, cream and wine. Lower heat cook 12-15 minutes until mixture reduces by ½.Turn off heat. Toss sauce with hot pasta, cheese and olives. Top with basil.*It is much easier to shred havarti when it is cold.
