3 bottles samuel adams winter lager
-
3 cups sugar
-
3 cups dijion mustard
-
1 pinch each
-
cinnamon
-
orange peel
-
ginger
-
1 14lb fresh ham, trimmed of excess fat and rind

coarse salt

freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- bring the three bottles of lager to a boil over medium-high heat. reduce.
- add sugar and mustard and the reduce to about 1/2
- add cinnamon, orange peel and ginger.
- let sit for 10 minutes
- generously baste ham with glaze, salt and pepper
- let marinate for at least three hours
- preheat ovento 375 degrees
- place the seasoned ham on a rack in roasting pan
- roast ham, uncovered, for 5 1/2 hours to internal temp is 160
