- This is a medium size for 1st syrup and larger pan for 2nd
- 2nd Syrup = 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup Karo light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup water
- Put into large heavy pan and begin to heat.
- In heavy duty mixer beat 3 egg whites as for meringue (not to dry)
- Test 1st syryp until spins very short thread.
- Don't cook this 1 too long. Place lid on 2nd syrup
- Beat 1st syrup gradually into egg whites in mixer.
- Back to 2nd syrup cook until you test that it spins a long thread Without breaking should be 7" long before it breaks
