I became fascinated with growing and using fresh herbs after a visit to New Iberia, LA. I joined the South Texas Herb Society and began introducing others to the wonderful scents and tastes of fresh herbs. I later became a Master Gardener and still volunteer. My husband died in 2000 and I moved to Georgia to be closer to my daughter and her family. I had another daughter in Michigan who passed away last year from brain cancer.
I still cook for my new husband and friends,. We like to entertain and play games: Mah Jongg, Rummi-kub, cards, board games, etc. We also travel considerably. This year is Chile, Ireland, and Great Rivers of Europe.
About my cooking
I have endeavored to cook just about everything: cheese, wines, liqueuers, meets, veggies, breads, desserts...I love challenges.
